I have not used it long enough to see the brightening effect, but it does make your skin better overall. It does not migrate into the eyes, even after all night sleeping with it.

However, I found it to be very moisturizing and bought a send bottle while it was still on sale. After a month or more I may be able to comment on the other aspects of nightly use.
